Our Story

SureScribe is a labour of love for Scotland based freelance editor and writer, Olivia. She first had the idea to amalgamate all her indie publishing skills at 3am while feeding one of her twins. As a self-published author, she understands exactly what it takes (and what it takes out of you!) to publish a book and check all those boxes along the way. SureScribe is her way of making sure that no one who wants to become a published author misses anything that could damage their reputation as an author.

With more than 3 years experience as a freelance editor and proofreader, Olivia has worked with all kinds of writing, from corporate grant proposals to high fantasy novels and everything in between. As an avid reader and book hoarder, she favours fantasy, romance, classics and cosy reads. As a professional, her expertise lies in fantasy, action/thriller, historic, and western fiction; she also specialises in academic writing, proposals, business plans, and media/marketing.

She lives in Skye & Lochalsh with her partner, and their twins.
